Dholavira is an ancient archaeological site of the Harappan Civilization (also known as the Indus Valley Civilization) located on the arid Kutch region of Gujarat, India.

Dholavira was a prominent urban center during the Harappan Civilization, which flourished around 3000 BCE to 1500 BCE. The city played an important role in the trade networks and cultural exchange of the time.

One of the most intriguing discoveries at Dholavira is the giant inscription carved into the stone, which consists of 10 large letters. This inscription is one of the most important findings at Harappan sites and may offer clues about the writing system of the Indus Valley Civilization, although its meaning remains undeciphered.
